We have released the new versions of NCVIEW/NCVIEW Neo/NCVIEW MC3 2020.

Overview of New Functions

Inclined surface machining functionality has been expanded.

Inclined surface indexing commands by roll, pitch, and yaw are now supported. (201605003)

Automatic tool compensation setting function added.

Length and diameter compensation can now be set at once from registered tool geometries.

Machining time and process chart have been improved for more precise totalization.

Rapid traverse speeds of additional axes (UVW axis) can now be set individually.

The process chart has been expanded to be able to output the process chart in M00 segments.

A fixed cycle depth of cut check function has been added.

The upper limit of the depth of cut Q for deep hole cycle commands can now be specified for drilling tools.

OSP-related functions have been extended.

  • The conditional branch IF-THEN directive is now supported.
  • Coordinate transformation and creative machining are now supported.
  • Simultaneous XZC 3-axis control of G101 creative machining is now supported.
  • OSP common variable V is now supported.
  • The MULTUS workpiece coordinate system range has been extended.

SIEMENS related functions have been extended.

  • SIEMENS helical interpolation is now supported.
  • SIEMENS CYCLE800 maximum backward parameter is now supported (201906004)

FANUC related functions have been extended.

  • P-CODE variables have been extended.

Functions related to HEIDENHAIN have been extended.

  • Three-dimensional tool compensation (LN X_ Y_ Z_ TX_ TY_ TZ_) is now supported.

Functions related to TOSNUC have been extended.

  • The TOSNUC symbol definition directive (DS directive) is now supported.

Option parameters for correction numbers have been expanded.

Enhanced functionality to make it easier to use

  • Enhanced the ability to monitor and reload configuration files.
  • The maximum number of MACLIBs specified has been expanded.

Major Improvements and Corrections

  • Coolant and spindle check coverage with cutting OFF has been corrected.
  • TOSNUC G53 fixture offset cancellation has been corrected.
  • Incorrect processing of chip boundary point settings in user turning and user drilling tool settings has been corrected.
  • A bug in fixed cycle repeat processing during tool position offset has been corrected.
  • A reporting error that the outer part of the product shape is embedded has been corrected.
  • A bug in temporary file processing has been corrected.
  • The loading of STL files in VirtualMachine has been corrected.
  • The behavior of inclined rotation axes has been adjusted.
  • Fixed a problem with slider operation in the work fixture setting dialog.
  • The processing of VM tool change operation when the axis name and address are set differently has been corrected.
  • The VirtualMachine set component has been corrected.
  • The processing of incorrect formula instructions in SIEMENS has been improved.
  • The drilling cycle processing of SIEMENS has been improved [_AMODE parameter].
  • Fixed a bug in the status display of SIEMENS [tool length compensation].
  • The status display of HEIDENHAIN has been improved.
  • Faulty processing of coordinate conversion in CUTCOMP_T has been corrected.
  • Attachment number input processing has been corrected.
  • Error determination for interference/proximity has been improved (201901001)
  • Improved SIEMENS status display [display of correction amount].
  • The judgment process for the allowable axis direction of CYCLE800 in SIEMENS has been improved (201902007)
  • Incorrect processing of R variable has been corrected (201903006)
  • Incorrect tip point control has been corrected [negative pivot length case].
  • Processing of CYCLE800 stroke error in SIEMENS has been corrected [_ST parameter].
  • SIEMENS CYCLE800 evacuation operation processing has been corrected [_FR parameter].
  • Machine file (.mch) loading adjusted.
  • Adjustment of STL operations has been modified.
  • Fixed a bug in the conversion process from STL to workpiece geometry.
  • The current file name is now displayed when saving a project file.
  • Interference judgment when a turning tool contacts a workpiece has been improved.
  • The accuracy of the totalization time of axis movement time during tip point control has been improved.
  • A rotation direction error during tool tip point control mode has been corrected.  
  • Decimal point handling for macro arguments has been improved.
  • A bug in the delete operation of combination holders has been corrected.
  • Fixed a bug in the preview display of user-defined holders.
  • Fixed a bug in the ESC key processing in the holder registration screen.
  • The processing of breakpoints after creating a process chart has been improved.
  • The processing of excessive offset vectors in FANUC tool diameter compensation has been improved.
  • Misidentification of the first subprocessor in MELDAS has been improved.
  • Incorrect model comparisons for certain workpiece placements have been corrected.
  • File list display error in DXF drawing display has been corrected.
